How important is learning in our life?
During financialmoment of truth education remains as one of the unequalable and most valuable assets. search for megaupload In fact it is understood as the best direct investment of financial and time reosurces. It is essential to include all the main chains in one’s education process: from the elementary education up to the stage in life when you graduate from the university and probably suppose to look for the job or continue with your study and decide to go for for the master, followed by Phd. If you take out one of the chains, the learning process will be not comprehensive. While your elementary, middle and high education you have to develop a platform for future bachelor studies in the university. This is one of the motivations, why there are so many subjects, which are not interconnected to each other at all (like P.E. physical education, languages), but they are still organized together on the program list. The main objective of this is to give the pupil the basic knowledge about the most essential spheres of people’s life and development. per contra, I think there are couple of distinctions between the earlier stages of learning structure in the USA and Europe. In USA starting from early years the system is created in such a stream, that pupils begin to break down their learning to special knowledge, which will be most likely connected with their upcoming work. Relatively speaking, learning process takes more job oriented appeal. From the other side in Europe we elicit more theory and ground classic education. Students study the single subject not applying it too much to their future possible type pf work. Which structure is the best? Certainly representatives of each concept will argue and try to prove the failures of another concept. Nevertheless this ellaboration will never come to an end. Throughout a number of years both systems checked to be stable and be capable of providing sufficient level of study preparation of children before leaving to the big world. sendspace rapidshare Thus, it is always up to you: go deeper in the pure study disciplines and gain superior theoretical knowledge or separate yourself a little bit and attempt to begin with applying your skills to possible type of work already while studying at the early stages.
Another aspect, which must be also definitely discussed is the appeal to the academy education in different regions. In USA and the countries of former USSR (we will suppose these for comparing as they reflect the issues in question in the most clear way) most of the time student is put in quite a severe situation and should predestine the science, which he or she is going to study extremely cautiously as the way of changing the university is quite time consuming and requires a lot of resources. In European states we notice another case: students are quite protected during their university studies and may switch their studies around 2 times ! Switching too many times does not bring any additional value for the student. How can these distinctions be explained? In my opinion the governmental social instruments are the core determinants in this situation. USA, countries of past USSR are rather reactionary and social protection as the concept is not well appreciated on the national level. In USA it is so as a cosequence of commonUS ethics, aiming towards lower taxes, superior position of private property, while in the countries of former USSR the economyis booming and the state-owned social security initiatives are only being developed. In Europe on the opposite side we see, that social protection undertake a very important role in the people’s lives, and certainly in students’ lives in this situation. Having protection from the state, students can concentrate on subjects.During these processes students don’t risk to be put to army or some obligatory tasks, which will take the education process in a puzzled situation. However there are definitely some drawbacks. First its important to say that, sometimes due to this “relaxed” situation students are not motivated enough and therefore do not use their resources sufficiently and can end up spending a bit too much on their bachelor program for instance. If they had spent a lot of time resources, they maybe would have finished the bachelor degree earlierand therefore would have a chance to go for master studies before starting their job and therefore increase their salary prospects.
Thus, you can agree that education is one of most versatile and challenging processes in life and there are a lot of roads to choose from, it’s up to you to decide which one to drive.
