1、问题陈述
对要解决的问题进行概括，适当突出问题的重要性和目前存在的不足。
In the field of …, … is a problem that arouses lasting concern, however …
1) 在…领域，…是一个引起持久关注的问题，然而…。
For a long time, people have focused on studying/considering/paying attention to/designing/improving …, but have not considered …, thus restricting ….
2) 长久以来，人们侧重于研究/考虑/关注/设计/提高….，但尚未考虑…，从而制约了…。
As we all know, improving … is an important way to improve (efficiency/…), so improving … is an urgent problem to be solved.
3) 众所周知，提高…是提升（效率/…）的重要途径，因此，提高…是急待解决的问题。
… has great application potential/… has important application value.
3) …具有较大的应用潜力/…具有重要应用价值。

5) …的潜在价值尚未得到足够关注/ 重视。
2、动机
指出具体研究什么内容，该研究内容是问题陈述中声明的问题的一个子集。必要时给出研究目标。

1) 本研究的目的/主要目的/目标是调查/研究/分析/确定…的影响。

4) 本研究有三个主要目的:
