2.1.1 Introduction
The introduction should briefly summarise the topic of the paper and its background information, as well as identifying the central question that the paper will answer. In addition, an eye-catching mode of expression can be used as an introduction, such as quoting one or two classic quotations or interesting facts.
2.1.2 Body Paragraphs
The main body paragraphs are the core part of the essay and need to be explored in depth around the topic. Each paragraph should have a clear topic sentence, which is used to guide the subsequent discussion. Supporting evidence should be mainly cited from relevant literature to enhance the credibility of the thesis statement. Finally, the previous issues are reviewed and summarised through concluding statements.
2.1.3 Conclusion
The conclusion section should reiterate the issues explored in the thesis and their importance, summarise the existing ideas and state the author’s own innovative insights. At the same time, constructive comments or suggestions can also be made in this section.
2.2 Formatting Requirements
2.2.1 Font
It is recommended to use Times New Roman font, the size control between 18-22 pounds for first-level headings, 16 pounds for second-level headings, 14 pounds for third-level headings, and 12 pounds for the main text.
2.2.2 Page numbering
Catalogue page number using Roman numerals, the body of the page using Arabic numerals.
