An in-depth look at effective techniques and key points for writing a literature review!

International studentsmethodology is written according to this structure, as if the explorer wanders through the mysterious treasures of the map, so that even a fool can easily grasp it!

METHODOLOGY is the theoretical basis of scientific activity, which we often refer to as methodology.

It usually includes four key components:

①What are your data sources?

② What methods will you use to obtain data?

What are the channels to collect the data?

④ How to cleverly analyse these precious data?

How to choose the right Methodology for you?

1、First of all, define the direction of your research or project goal.

Clarify the goal and the problem to be solved by the research or project you are contemplating, which will help you to have a deeper understanding of the type and applicability of the required Methodology.

2. Next, consider the unique aspects of the research design

Think about the design features of your study or project. For example:Are you conducting empirical research or theoretical analysis? Is it a quantitative or qualitative study? These design features will help narrow down the appropriate methodology.

3. Finally, read the results of previous research.

Examine prior research, practice, and methodologies in related fields. See which methodologies have been widely used in similar research areas or projects.

Qualitative Research:

Qualitative research focuses on collecting non-data sources, such as images and text, to gain a deeper understanding of the perspectives of individuals, groups, and communities. Be sure to note the criteria for selecting participants or sources, the context of the study, and whether we are acting as a participant or observer in the data collection.

Quantitative Research:

Quantitative research, on the other hand, involves collecting data information to analyse the data in order to draw speculative conclusions.

Be sure to describe the sampling method, the data collection instrument, and the collection process. Below is a formula for describing the different types of quantitative research:

Survey type-When, where, and how.

Experimental type-What tools, what techniques, and what processes were used.

Secondary data-where to obtain and how to filter.
