Formatting Requirements

Font: Times New Roman/Arial

Font size: 12

Line spacing: double-spaced

Margins: 1 inch on both sides of the text

Alignment: Left aligned

Indentation: The first sentence of each paragraph is indented by 0.5 inches.

Title and page number: when a subheading under the body of more than one page, the subheading should be placed with the page number in the upper right corner of each page when the subheading is too long, the subheading should be shortened.

 

Book Citation.

 

Author’s last name, first name in capital letters, year of publication, book title, place of publication, publisher.

Note: English names are usually written with the first name first and the last name second.

 

Journal Citation.

 

Author’s last name, first initial, (year of publication or issue), title of paper, title of journal, volume number (issue number), page number.

Note: For multiple authors, use commas between authors and a full stop after capitalising the first name.

 

Web citation.

 

Author’s last name, first name with initial capitals, (year), article name, journal name, URL (date of access).
