I. Selection stage
First of all, we need to determine the direction of our research. This is like finding a lighthouse in a vast ocean that guides our way forward. In this process, we can start from the topics we are interested in, or choose the areas we are relatively familiar with for in-depth research. At the same time, we also need to read widely relevant literature and materials in order to better understand the current situation and development trend of the chosen research topic.
II. Proposal Writing Stage
After determining the research direction, we can start writing the research proposal. The research proposal is like a battle plan, which specifies our research objectives, research methods, research content and other key information. When writing the proposal, we need to state our ideas as clearly as possible in order to get guidance and feedback from our supervisor.
III. Data collection and analysis stage
After getting approval from our tutor, we can start working on data collection. In this process, we need to strictly abide by ethical norms to ensure that the data sources are legal and reliable. At the same time, we also need to keep an eye on the progress of the study, solve any problems that may arise in time, and make necessary adjustments to the research programme according to the actual situation.
IV. Dissertation writing stage
After completing the data collection and analysis work, we can start writing the paper. When writing the paper, we need to follow certain format requirements, including the introduction, background introduction, methodology, discussion of results, conclusion and other parts. At the same time, we also need to pay attention to the accuracy and fluency of language expression, and strive to make the thesis have high academic value and readability.
V. Review and Revision Stage
After completing the first draft, we need to review and revise the thesis repeatedly to ensure that its quality meets academic standards. In this process, we need to listen carefully to our supervisor’s comments and suggestions, and constantly improve the content and structure of the thesis.
VI. Thesis Submission and Defence Stage
After many revisions and refinements, we can finally submit our dissertation to the university and prepare for the defence. In the defence, we need to show our research results and innovations, and answer the questions raised by the judges. Only after passing the defence can we officially obtain the degree certificate.
