The Structure of Finding&Discussions in Quantitative Papers
① Descriptive statistical
② Correlation analysis
③ Regression analysis
④ Discussions
The parts from ① to ③ here are all results/findings, and Findings is to report your results and findings. Please note that this is a description of your results and cannot be analyzed or evaluated. There is no need to insert theory.
The fourth part of the discussion is to analyze and discuss your results, with the idea of reviewing or reiterating your research direction and purpose (requiring the insertion of corresponding literature review theories), briefly stating what your research hypothesis is and based on which literature?
Has your research hypothesis been validated? If verified, which other research results are similar or inconsistent with this result? What theoretical and practical implications does this result validate?
If your hypothesis is not validated, which other research results are similar to this result? What studies are inconsistent with this result? What are the possible reasons for the hypothesis not being validated? Do we need to revalidate this hypothesis in the future?
The Structure of Finding&Discussions in Qualitative Papers
① Finding 1
② Finding 2
③ Finding 3
④ Discussions
The Findings of qualitative papers should be based on your research objectives, reporting your results and findings one by one
Discussions are about analyzing and discussing your findings one by one. For each finding, the discussion approach is as follows
Briefly describe the research purpose corresponding to the first finding, and connect it with the literature. Why is it important?
Which other research findings are similar or inconsistent with the results of this article? What are the possible reasons? What are the theoretical contributions and practical implications of the results of this article?
Finally, the findings need to be reported for each specific research objective
